Last week I had a conversation with a lady (Suzi) who was highly educated (3 degrees!) but was struggling to find a career she loves. She was convinced that her passion was in the general area of analytics but needed some help in identifying the specific area.
I wasn’t as convinced as Suzi that analytics was it…and felt that it might be beneficial to explore other areas, particularly given that all she knew was analytics. I was struggling to get her to lift up and cast the net wider and was cracking my brain trying to figure out how to help her.
Then it dawned on me that she might have a very narrow focus as a result of a lot of education which can make us over analyse an issue. In this video I share my tips on how you might overcome this challenge.
